If you’re using an account on your Mac with other apps, such as Contacts or Messages, you can also use that account with Mail. Make sure the Mail checkbox is selected for the account. Microsoft supports opening shared email accounts in the desktop version of Outlook and the Outlook Web App (OWA). In Mail, choose Mail > Add Account, select an account type, then enter your account information. It is your responsibility to contact the mailbox owner to request access to a shared mailbox. If the Service Desk cannot identify the shared mailbox owner, they can submit a ticket for you to the Postmaster requesting assistance identifying the owner of the mailbox.
